Playgroup

Everton Primary School offers playgroup three times per term (once per month) to children aged from birth to five years. The playgroup sessions are run within the school setting and are based on the Early Years Framework. The sessions usually consist of a story and activities based around the book. Student leaders of the school often read the story or run an activity which encourages cross-age mentoring and networking, reflecting the caring and nurturing culture the school is extremely proud of. Parents are invited to bring along morning tea and a piece of fruit. The sessions ask for a gold coin donation to cover the cost of additional supplies.

The students at Everton thoroughly enjoy their Art lessons, which involve working in a wide range of mediums including painting, drawing, collage, ceramics and sculpture. Everton Primary School has a supportive Arts culture, and teachers celebrate their student's achievements in Art by displaying their work and participating in a range of Arts projects.
